Dogs need to drink about ounce of water per pound of body weight per day. So just like a toddler encourage your dog to drink water by putting it in their favorite bowl and always making sure it is full. Your dog should avoid drinking pool water because of the chemicals are harmful. Water from your tap is best or filtered water.
Check with your vet if their water pattern changes suddenly. Ask your dog nutritionist if you have any other questions.
